What an amazing 10 days of Summer School! 🎉
💰Our 38 students, from Kindergarten through High School, had a blast learning through hands-on experiences! Students solved a money heist crime, visited the Catron County Sheriff's Office and met the K-9 unit, then explored New Mexico's mining history with a trip to the Mining Museum in Grants.
Learning was filled with teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, and fun! A big thank you to everyone who helped make these experiences possible. We can't wait to see our students continue to shine this school year! 💰

Two of our students, both very involved in school activities and athletics, are representing our school and community at the county level. Aspen Hendricks, soon to be a freshman at QHS, earned her title of 2026 Catron County Fair Queen. Sage Hendricks, going into the 7th grade, is the 2026 Catron County Fair Princess. Both are well-versed in all there is to know about the fair, agriculture, and veterinary science. The two sisters are the current youth ambassadors, as well as 2026 Catron County Fair Junior Miss, Davianna Silva. They would like to invite you August 19th-23rd to experience the event and support all exhibitors (many are Quemado Eagles) at the fairgrounds in Reserve, NM.
